“Nutritional therapy can help us achieve almost anything; since food is the basis and fuel of all chemical processes that take place in the body.”
- Stella Metsovas`
Nutritional therapies consist of using a diet to treat/prevent illness; and restore the body’s natural health equilibrium. Modern nutritional development found; if an individual is deficient in one or more nutrients they will be predisposed to develop some form of degenerative condition. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can be too slight to produce an obvious marker or symptom (in a degenerative condition); but are enough to reduce the body’s ability to function efficiently.
Unfortunately, in modern times we accept many unnecessary symptoms as part of our day-to-day stressful living. A few common indications of a nutritional subclinical deficiency are:
- Susceptibility to colds/viruses
- Skin ailments
- Inability to lose weight
- Inability to gain/maintain lean muscle tissue
- Lethargy
- PMS
- Premature Aging
The fact is: Americans are overfed and undernourished .
As a consumer, we are completely misinformed to what “healthy” eating really is. We lead ourselves to believe in the current “fad-diet”.
This merely produces the yo-yo dieting effect, with definite future problematic issues.
