Bio-Individual Metabolism uses the systematic approach to optimal ratios for the unique biochemistry of the Individual.
There are many physiological (def: The way in which a living organism or bodily part functions) interactions that occur at every moment. Physiological systems need to be integrated when considering the Individuals’ Macro/Micro Nutrient intake. Specific approaches should be considered through the evaluation of:
- Functionality of the Endocrine and Lipo-Oxidative Systems
- Autonomic System
- Oxidative System
- Acid/Alkaline Base
The oxidative system works to covert protein, fats, starches, and sugars into ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). ATP is the biological form of energy stored at the cellular level. The two main players in ATP (Energy) production are: Glycolysis and Citric Acid Cycle. Metabolic oxidation occurs from the digestion of foods, catabolism, and citric acid cycle.
To harmonize these reactions the Individual must target optimal proportions of Macro/Micro Nutrients.
You are probably asking yourself… “What does this mean, and why do I need to know this?” You are a Unique Individual. Lifelong achievement in Optimal Health begins and ends with your Bio-Individual dietary activity.
